Christina Savage, a native Tennessean, born and raised in White County Tennessee. She moved to Mount Juliet in 1999.
Christina has always been involved with caring for others. Once she had to help an Emergency Room Doctor with her sister’s knee laceration, at that moment she knew medicine was "cool" and something she wanted to do. Christina earned her Bachelors Degree in Nursing at Tennessee Tech and then worked at Baptist Hospital for 4 years. She was able to care for numerous post-operative patients and their families. One day while at Baptist, she had an experience with a patient that led her to go back to school. She had a patient in need of medicine in which she could not give without a doctor’s order. She watched the patient wait and realized that she could do much more for her patients if she went back to school.
In 2000, Christina entered Belmont University’s Family Nurse Practitioner program and soon began practicing in the Mount Juliet area. Christina quickly developed a loyal following of patients and calls each of them her friends. She was very pleased to join the staff at Mount Juliet Family Care in the fall of 2009.
When not working, Christina enjoys spending time with her husband Mark and their kids, Wade and Emma on their farm in Sparta, TN.
